SCP wins prestigious ‘Shoqata Tirana’ Award in Albania for ten years of cultural support
On December 2nd, 2009 the Award Committee of the ‘Shoqata Tirana’, a well known Association of Tirana citizens nominated the Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans (SCP) for its prestigious Award ‘Shoqata Tirana’ for cultural support, for the ten years of the SCP involvement in supporting culture and the arts in Tirana and Albania.

On this occasion on December 7th, 2009 at the Pallati i Kongreseve in Tirana the SCP was presented with the ‘Shoqata Tirana’ Award in a large public ceremony with an audience of around 2500 people.
H.E. Yvana Enzler, Ambassador of Switzerland to Albania accepted the award together with SCP Programme Officer in Albania, Mr. Besim Petrela.

SCP would like to thank once again the Association of Tirana Citizens ‘Shoqata Tirana’ for this recognition and the appreciation of the work we have done so far in Albania in these past ten years.
